DOCS CUSTOM AND COLLISION

Docs Custom & Collision was started in 1998 by John Larocque (Doc) with just two
employees. Over the years the shop grew to 23 employees and the shop expanded in
square feet to match.  Today there are 16 bays, two paint booths, 5 frame machines and a
custom shop.

One day when Doc was displaying his 1957 Chevy Belair at a classic car show,he realized
that the classic look was cool, but they all looked the same.  He thought about what would
set one car apart from the from the other.  Doc first pulled the factory emblems off his new
2001 Chevy truck.  He put the 1957 script emblems on the doors.  It looked good.  In 2002
Doc took a 1957 Belair hood with the rockets and fitted it to his truck.  Well that was even
better.  Then one day he had his 1957 Belair next to the truck and looked at the rear
quarter panels and thought it would look good.  Doc got the panels and began work.  The
result was a unique coupling of 21st century automotive technology with the cool heavy
chrome look of the classics.  TRUCKING MAGAZINE agreed and put the car in a two page
spread.

Doc was walking around the shop one evening in 2005 and looked over at his wife's new
2004 Tahoe.  She saw the look in his eyes and started to get nervous.  Rightly so.  A few
days later Doc stole her new Tahoe and put fins, hood and bumpers on the truck.  This car
was so compelling it was featured on the TV show TRUCK UNIVERSE.  Don't worry he
made good with his wife and bought her  a new Chevy HHR to replace the Tahoe.

In late 2006 Doc's son drew a picture of a modified HHR at school and brought it home to
show Doc.  Docs wife got very nervous again.  After all Doc just steals her cars one after
another.  A victim of restless hands.  Well Doc just couldn't resist and in January of 2007
began work on the custom HHR.  Pushing the limits even further than  the two previous
vehicles.  The HHR is being transformed into a panel delivery with a beautiful wood cargo
floor,20 inch wheels, air bags and a killer stereo system.  Whats more this project is being
filmed from start to finish for a television show.  Oh and Docs wife..........she has a new ride,
untouched for now.
